Adventure in Color #1: “Colors in the Void” was created by printing transparent inks in successive layers to create a full spectrum of color. The first layer is printed, then the block is rotated 90 degrees before printing the next layer, and so on. Here is the result after 4 layers/rotations.

The “color wheel” in the center shows the original color of each ink layer, with the “burst” illustrating all the possible colors that can be created from stacking layer upon layer.
